We explore Ezekiel 3:10–11 to show why appointment comes with assignment and why inward conviction must precede outward message. We challenge the grip of offense, reframe enemies as footstools, and trade chance for promise so purpose can move without filters.
• appointment implies assignment and mission
• receive all God’s words inwardly without filter
• promises over probabilities and statistics
• bread as daily picture of the Word’s necessity
• Joseph’s story as a test of true internal healing
• words carry authority and shape actions
• guard relationships and weigh outside voices
• reject cherry-picking scripture; demand context and witness
• forgive to break the spirit of offense
• see people as God sees them to minister well

Transform your life. And your legacy. We're still believing that great things are happening. And they're happening in you. Come on, let's get ready to make this happen. Our life's been waiting for you to show up. Yes, it has.
Appointed For A Mission
SPEAKER_02Amen. All right, so we're gonna do something this morning, and uh, you know, it's it's honestly uh sometimes difficult to uh tackle this topic in a in a in a class, or at least to uh to get your attention. To grab your attention, right? Uh but we're going to Ezekiel. Ezekiel. Anybody know anybody named Ezekiel? Anybody know any Ezekiel? No? No? Uh we had a Eli, my uh youngest son, had a friend, we call him Zeke. Amen. A good young man. He joined the military, did some things in his life. Amen. And he's just wonderful. He's the only Zeke or Ezekiel that I know, to be quite honest with you. But it's a good biblical name, isn't it? Ezekiel. But we're not going to go into what his name means, all that good stuff. But at the end of the day, because we don't have much time, what we are going to talk about is his appointment and his purpose in the earth. Now, if you don't know, one of the key things I love to talk about is your appointment. If you don't know you're appointed, today you just found out. Right? Today you have been appointed. You are appointed by God. As a matter of fact, he said, You are a royal priesthood. You are a peculiar people. So when you get saved, you're not just saved specifically for you to be saved and say, Thank God I don't have to go to hell. I mean, obviously that's a good benefit, right? I don't I don't want to go to hell. Lord knows I don't want to go to hell. Amen. You know, but you said, Wow, I got saved and I don't have to go to hell. And while it's a good message, it is not a comprehensive message. Because we get saved and we have a mission. How do I know that? Well, one, the Lord said so. Two, you're still here.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02If you're still here, you still have a mission. Good point. Am I right, y'all? Yes, sir. All right, so does God make mistakes? No, sir. No doubt about it, he never does. Right? Even though some people might think so. Uh, sometimes you might second guess God. But let's let's understand this. He don't get it wrong. Right. He doesn't get it wrong. Uh, do we get it wrong?
SPEAKER_00Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_02Do we get it wrong multiple times? Every day. Ah, we get it wrong, we get it wrong. And here's the crazy part about it. We get it wrong and we tell him uh he got it wrong. Ain't that something? You got it wrong, baby. You just got it wrong again if you told God he got it wrong. Right? But you can emotionally you can emotionally
God Uses Enemies As Footstools
SPEAKER_02feel that God just got it wrong.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Right? Because we see through a glass what? Darkly. We see we don't see all that God sees. Right? And I thank God because here's the thing, and I want to share this with you while while you're getting at Ezekiel, the third chapter, while you're getting there, here's the thing I want to share with you is that sometimes we don't even see how God will use our enemy to promote us. Amen. Isn't that something? Yeah, he'll use our enemy to promote us. Allow our enemy to agitate us enough that we might get the gumption to go do the right thing. Or just agitate the people around and move people out of your way so that you can get to the place where he wants you to go. So you'll be surprised, right? Who uh who God will allow to be uh in your pathway, and you might think, man, I really hate them. Sometimes you ought to really love your enemies because you need a footstool. Am I right, y'all? Amen. Love on them, love on them, pray for them, wait for God to change them. Are
Ezekiel 3:10–11 Read Aloud
SPEAKER_02y'all there yet? Ezekiel the third chapter. If you're there, say I'm there. All right, so Ezekiel third chapter. We're focusing on verses 10 through 11 right now, 10 through 11. And there's a mouthful. Oh, there's a mouthful. Y'all say it with me. There's a mouthful.
SPEAKER_00There's a mouthful.
SPEAKER_02In 10 through 11, all right? That's right. So who wants to be the first one to jump in and read verses 10 and 11?
SPEAKER_00Moreover, he said unto me, Son of Man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee, receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ear, and go. Get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord God, whether they whether they will hear or whether they will forbear. All right, all
Son Of Man And Spiritual Reality
SPEAKER_00right.
SPEAKER_02So, like I said, there is a ton in this scripture, so much so it's probably gonna take up half the lesson. I say that because this is a foundational piece.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02This is a foundational piece, and uh, and herein lies the thing. Let's start off this moreover, he said unto me, Son of Man. Now, if you read the first two uh chapters, Ezekiel has a vision. Wheel in the middle of the wheel, you see all these other things happening, and you see some magnificent things, right? Some visions that artists have painted. But by the time you get to the third chapter, it's really it's really straightforward, right? There are really straightforward things happening in the third chapter. And herein it says, moreover, he said unto me, Son of Man. Anybody ever heard that term before? Son of man. Son of man. Ever heard of son of man? Now, I'm gonna do a little a little switch here. This son of man is not the same son of man that refers to Christ.
SPEAKER_00Right. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I want to make sure we understand this, right? See, this is like if you've ever watched um um uh was it uh oh man, the author just slips me. Uh his I don't know, I just had it on the tip of my tongue. But uh you've watched the uh wardrobe, um C.S. Lewis.
unknownC.
SPEAKER_02S. Lewis, if you ever see if you get his writing, C.S. Lewis, uh The Line of Witch in the Wardrobe, if you see those things or Anarnia, all those things, oftentimes within there, you'll see what he references, son of man. Son of man. If you don't know C. S. Lewis, he's a Christian. Right. He was a Christian. One of the best ones he's ever written, I thought, were the screw tape letters. If you if you're a reader, right? Screw screw tape letters, screw tape letters. It's really good. I mean, honestly, if you really want to dive into some kind of fictional writing, but it goes in line with how scripture works. And I'll give you uh, for instance, uh, in one of the screw tape letters, they talk about how the enemy is assigned to a particular church. And they're able to topple some churches, but they can't topple this one church. And the reason they can't topple this one church is they find out inside that people are praying. Right? These people are praying. It's like they have a barrier set around the church. So I'm I'm synopsifying. I'm concise, real good right here. But you want to get to that point where you begin to realize there are things that actually happen in the spiritual realm, right, that we don't even know about because we we're more concerned about this physical realm. We see this physical realm. And maybe sometimes we don't pray as often as we should because we don't see what's happening or a manifestation of it in a physical realm. But the truth of the matter is every time you make it to another destination, somebody pray for you. I mean, I don't
Promises Over Chances
SPEAKER_02know if we think about it, you just think it happened. You know, something I'm lucky, there's no luck, there's no luck here. That's not the luck here, there's no luck here. If God's in charge, there's no luck, there's promises. We understand the promises are true and amen, right? So let's not let's not put luck in our lives, right? Let's not put chance in our lives. We want to actually do now. Are there chances that you could get a promotion? Sure, there are chances. There are chances, but it's also the hand of God. In other words, I'm not gonna say, hey, there isn't a chance that one in five chance that you're probably gonna look up and look at me and say, that's a good-looking man. One in five. That's a low chance, right? I'm hoping that it'll be four in five somewhere along the line. Ain't that right, Dr. Howard? Yeah, yeah, I know you're gonna see it. You see your glasses, see? See, there's always a hater in the bunch, and I thank God for him. So here's what you want to do is that understand that yes, while there are chances, God promises, his promises increase your chances.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Oh, his promises push the chances behind and push you a front. Y'all with me? Oh, okay, you don't believe me. So you had this particular form of cancer. The doctor tells you, because of the numbers, these are the chances that you will survive. You survive. Guess what? God says, forget what the numbers say.
SPEAKER_00That's right. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Press forward on what my word says. Y'all see what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02So I would rather put my trust in the promises of God than in the chances of man. Because let me go back. You don't know everything.
SPEAKER_00Yes, right.
SPEAKER_02Matter of fact, the word science means I'm coming into knowledge, right? I'm learning something. I'm still science is still changing. Y'all with me? God does not change. He don't change. He don't have to change. You don't have to change. Matter of fact, instead of you, as far as the universe is still what? Growing and expanding. I've even heard some theologians say that's because it's in search of God. But anyway, I'm gonna leave that alone. I'm gonna leave, I'm gonna leave that alone. All right, so we're gonna we're gonna move on because I can take on a tangent right there and enjoy that all day long. So here's what we do know. It says God is speaking to Ezekiel. But even more so, here's what he's saying. Uh, somebody read 10 again for me. Uh, and it's important. Read 10 again, verse 10.
SPEAKER_00Moreover, he said unto me, Son of Man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee, receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
SPEAKER_02So talk to me. What does that mean? All how many some of the words?
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_02Maybe just 10 of them. Oh, maybe 50%. He said, What? And all means all means all. All
Internalize The Word
SPEAKER_02of the words. So here is all the words receive into thine heart and hear with thy ears. Come on, somebody talk to me. What does that mean to you? It's okay, right? Wrong, it doesn't matter. That's why we're here. There's a class is to teach. I want to make sure we understand that. You can get it wrong, we can get it right. Let's get it right together. Okay. Go ahead. How about I hint to you? Can I throw you a hint? Here we go. It's an internalization. God wants to internalize what He wants this word to be internalized. Let me give you an example. If uh you ever heard somebody say, I can sell water to a whale?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right? I can sell water to a whale. You can sell water to a whale. Well, that means, hey, guess what? That doesn't necessarily you're convinced that the whale needs water. You're just a con artist. You have no conviction about what you're doing. You just have a skill set.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Y'all with me? And some people know that they're con artists. Right? They're politicians who are con artists. They'll say what they need to say in front of the cameras in order for you to believe whatever it is that. Now they don't believe that behind the scenes.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Are y'all with me?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But God is, this is not what this is. God is saying to Ezekiel, listen, I want you to receive it where? In your heart. Now, Old Testament, depending on where you are, the heart was like the range. It was like literally like the gut. You know how some people ask my gut feeling or what have you. But at the end of the day, the point is that you would receive it in your heart, that you would take it and what? Hear with your ears. How much of it? How much? Y'all are doing a good job. So here. Here's the thing, and I'll read this off to you. God's first instructions to Ezekiel to receive in thine heart and hear with thine ears all the words that I speak emphasizes that the prophet's works, this work, his work begins inwardly. If you're going to work in the kingdom, it begins where? Inwardly. It's not an outward. I know people say baptism is an outward expression of an inward belief. Well, that's good. But it's more than that. It takes you more than that. And we ain't got time to get to that. But it does start what? Inwardly. Right? So let's go on. It's a priority that we begin to speak God's word. And this is where God focuses Ezekiel, that he might absorb or internalize his word before he speaks it. Now, if you read the prior chapters, you'll see where he tells them to eat a scroll. Right? He tells them to eat a scroll, right? He eats a scroll. There's a word. So many of you probably say that the man shall not live by bread alone by what?
SPEAKER_00Every word.
SPEAKER_02Every word. So if you go to Deuteronomy the 8th chapter, if you're looking at up Deuteronomy the 8th chapter, I think it's somewhere around the third verse, third or fourth verse. It actually tells you specifically that there's a need for us the way we're designed to not just have the natural, but we need the spiritual.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Right? We need that spiritual bread. We need that word, that bread. Now, let me let me let me roll this back a little bit because y'all know I like to teach
Bread As A Picture Of The Word
SPEAKER_02a little bit. Now, you ever read the scripture where Joseph is in Egypt, and there's a famine in the land. And if you really get into it, what you'll see is that there's a famine in the land and Joseph's brothers show up. You always seen that Joseph's brothers show up. They show up and they say, hey, we need, we need, we need, we need grain. We need X, Y, and Z. Why we need the grain. And you know what I find funny is that on the first trip, they end up leaving a brother Simeon behind because they because he said, Well, Joseph wants his brother Benjamin. You gotta read the story. You gotta read the story. Now I know sometimes we, and I gotta do this little tangent. I know sometimes we paint Joseph as somebody who is so Christ-like. But you really see the humanity of Joseph in that sentence and in that time frame, because he does treat his brothers raw.
SPEAKER_00Yes, he does.
SPEAKER_02If you read the, you if you read it, he treats them raw. It's like, hey, he he he listen, in other words, let me get to this real quick. All of that he, even though he named his children, what he named his children, it seems like that old thing showed up and reminded him of the pain. Y'all ever been there with something you thought you had forgotten?
SPEAKER_00It's called payback.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you, you know what? It's called right, but you thought you had forgotten it. You he literally says, I forgot my pain. He names his children, right? So that you could be constantly reminded when he called their name that my pain is gone. All these pains are gone. But when his brothers show up, the pain returned. Triggered. It triggered it, right? It triggered it. So here's the question is if you could say what you want with your mouth, but when the day comes, we see what it looks like on the inside. Y'all see what I'm saying? Did you internalize it? I know some of y'all wonder what it was going. Did you internalize what you believe? Did you internalize that? Did it become a part of you? Because if it really became a part of you, you wouldn't have reacted like that. Am I making sense, y'all? Okay. So you say, what if he actually did that to his brothers? And then not only that, here's my second point. He said, when they returned back, they brought back fruits. Anybody ever paid attention to that? When they came back for Simeon and brought Benjamin with them, his dad, Jacob, said, Hey, take these fruits and all this stuff. I was saying, hey, if there's a famine, why do you have fruits? Are you with me? Okay, here's the point. Grain was such a part of their natural diet that the absence of the bread would one make one hungry.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_02It was like you can't live without the bread. I don't know. We don't get it like that because some of y'all don't eat bread anymore. I know. Some of you are gluten-free. I know. But let me tell you something. Can I tell you something? They had to have bread. They needed the grain to make different types of meals and everything. And they would go so far as to say, we have gone this far. And you know what? They even said, you know what? If we had did what we're supposed to do, which was go by Neosimeon, that's the person who probably should have been mad. But anyway, because he'd been in jail the whole time. Anyway, we're going to go, we're going to come. If we had been, if we had done the right thing, Father, we could have been there back again. But we waited. But they still had to go for the bread. Are you with me? It's the bread. The bread's important. The bread of life is important. Sometimes we could live our lives not with the bread. But there's going to get a time when you get hungry. And you're going to know it. And you're going to have to pay the price because you should have won it. You went and did it when
Conviction That Starts Inward
SPEAKER_02you're supposed to. That's my point. Again, third point. You should have done the right thing the first time. Is it difficult to do the right thing the first time? Right, right. It is, isn't it? Can I tell you why? It says right there, receive it in your heart. If you received it in your heart, if you truly received it in your heart, it doesn't matter. Hunger will drive you. If you knew it was right, it doesn't matter. Whether people are seeing you or not. Whether people are watching what you do or not, if you know it's right, should you do it? Should I only do it when somebody's looking at me? If I'm convicted and convinced, I should do it regardless. Am I right? Inwardly, I should do it because I believe this thing to be true. Right? You can't tell me my wife ain't look good. I'm convinced. I am convinced. That's what I'm talking about. I am convinced. And you know what? Can I share this with you? Because I'm going to take this on the right route. When women tell their husbands I don't feel attractive, you go against the grain. Because we wouldn't have chosen you if we didn't think you were attractive. I don't know if you think they believe me. But here's the thing: there is something on the inward part of you that tries to reconcile how we came to that conclusion. That is not of your concern. That is not of your concern. I got one good amen from my brother. That is not your concern. The fact that we are convinced should be your concern. I hope I'm helping somebody right now. Even with the with the with the women, when you're told that you are attractive one way or another, you should take it for what it's worth. Don't try to second guess it. If somebody's convinced, then believe them for what they say. Am I right? How many of y'all know you look good in here? Oh, come on. How many of you are coming to know you look good in here? I'm gonna tell you right now, stop trying to unconvince the convinced. Can I share that with you? Stop trying to unconvince because I guarantee you, Ezekiel is convinced. By the time this is done, Ezekiel is convinced inwardly. What did I say? Inwardly. It's important to know that you can't take that away from him if he's convinced. All right. Amen. All right, so I'm Are we good so far? So not only that is he convinced where? Where is he convinced? Where is he convinced? He's convinced inwardly. And here with I knew it. So here's here let me go on. Go ahead. Here's a go. Um the second commandment is to go to the exile. So we'll get to that in verse 11. It says that he might do it in completeness and do it wholly. So here's what it here it
Hear All Words Without Filter
SPEAKER_02is. Ezekiel must pay close attention, diligent attention to every word God speaks. The message must be heard clearly and accurately, without distraction. Y'all say this with me. Without distraction, without omission, without omission or addition. If this is what God is saying, we must say what he has said, not what we think he said.
SPEAKER_00All right. Amen.
SPEAKER_02There should be no filter. There should be no filter. There should be no filter. Because if that's what God's saying, well, I think he really meant this. No, that's what he said. We get in trouble when we start saying we start rethinking what God said. So let's go on. It has to be accurate. This ensures that the prophet is not representing his own ideas, but the precise message of God, it addresses the intellectual or cognitive side of reception. In other words, there's a c when you wake up in the morning, you might not be altogether cognitive of what day it is.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02But once you look around and you figure it out, you say, oh, I know what it is, a cognitive side. You have cognizant cognitive abilities. Let's go on completeness. He is told to hear what? All how much? All of God's words. I know you said, Mike, why are you still there? Because we still need to understand all is all.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02Of God's words, include indicating he must not pick and choose.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02Now, how many of y'all know some people who pick and choose scriptures?
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02They pick and choose scriptures. Well, that don't really mean that anymore. We've changed our no, we don't we don't change direction. For those of you, you know, people are gonna pick me apart somewhere online, but listen. You need a witness for that scripture. If you're gonna say a thing and you're gonna create a doctrine, you need a witness for that scripture, and you need to make sure it's in context.
SPEAKER_00All right, yes, sir. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Make sure it's in context. You gotta understand. We have conversations oftentimes. I had a conversation this week with somebody, and no matter what I did, they tried to conflate two issues. And I'm saying, these are not, this is not the same. You keep changing the scope on me while I'm talking to you. Let alone sometimes you cut me off. Don't you hate people who interrupt you while you talk? Amen. Some of us may talk too long. We might mean to be more concise. You might need to be a little bit more concise and get to the point. But here's the thing is that when people and say, Well, you mean conflict, they mix things. And you know, I look, I'm gonna just let y'all know I like words. So don't don't don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to be up here and uh yada yada. I just love words. That's how I'm made. I love words. If you want to know, I like words. I like the way they sound. Okay. I like how how they put uh context and structure together. Just in one word, I could say something. I could probably, I could probably if you know how to do it right, you could actually tell somebody off real nice. If
Context, Witness, And Words Matter
SPEAKER_02you can tell somebody off real nice, if you use the right words. And never cuss. Never cuss at all. But they will know when you're done. I shouldn't have done that. So here we go. So we want to make sure we use the right words when we're talking to people and not conflate things when we're having a conversation. Can I say this with you while I'm sharing this with you? This is an opportunity for God to talk to his people through the man of God. Are you with me? Would you then believe that relationship is important?
SPEAKER_00Yes, very important.
SPEAKER_02Relationship is really important. Can I tell you this? You'll be blessed or cursed through relationships.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02You will be blessed or cursed through relationships. So depending on whatever relationship you form, you need to be mindful of who you're forming it with.
unknownAmen. True.
SPEAKER_02Amen. Let me go back. I talked about the husband and the wife. When you receive the word that he speaks about your beauty, or whoever you might be, or whatever it is maybe, whatever the compliment may be, receive that compliment. I know you have humble and you're human, you try to be humble and have humility and everything. Look, you need to receive that thing. You need to take it inside because there will be another word that comes from somebody else's lips that you really don't trust and they're an outsider, but you believe that before you believe the person you love. Don't understand that. Did I just tell the truth there?
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Somebody you who's an outsider, right? Has no business depositing seed in your life. You don't have a strong relationship with them. But because they have a word that is contrary to the word that someone you love has said. Am I making sense, y'all? For some reason, we oftentimes may take that and we'll rehearse that thing in our ears. More than we rehearse what we heard from our loved ones. Relationships are important. What's my point? I don't have a relationship with that person who just spoke that word. It makes no sense to me.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Do I? So I shouldn't allow them to deposit a word in there. But we do. If we don't put our guard up, and we'll let that seed grow. Am I doing all right, y'all? This is why we need to be convinced, where? Inwardly. We need to be convinced where? Inwardly. We can't let false prophets reshape our future.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02He said, brother, how'd you shit? Because the person that you just allowed to speak to you, you're letting them prophesy in your life if you believe it.
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02Did I say that? I did.
SPEAKER_00You did.
SPEAKER_02If you believe it, you're letting them prophesy to you. Because then it governs your actions. Am I right?
unknownThat's right.
SPEAKER_01Amen.
SPEAKER_02Makes you think about it while you're sitting at the table, eating something.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02In that quiet moment. Mmm. Alright, let's go. So here we go. So we want to make sure we get all of God's words, all of them. We don't pick and choose only the parts we like. Let's go now to receive in thine heart. Ezekiel must have a willing accept, willingly accept the message as true and binding, regardless of how difficult, can I say this? How difficult and unpleasant
Relationships Shape Belief
SPEAKER_02it may be. In this particular example, it may be difficult and unpleasant what he's about to embark on. We're just in chapter three. We've got to get to chapter 24. Don't worry, we're not going to read all those chapters today. We're going to skip over to 24. All right. In chapter 3, this is why this is this is this is important. This is foundational. Now I need you to have it inwardly, and then when you hear it, I need you to hear it in its completeness. Right? And you must accept it fully. You must have a deep understanding. It must be understood deeply and absorbed into his core being, transforming his own perspective so that he sees Israel's situation from God's point of view. Here's the question: Can you see the people you're ministering to from God's point of view? Huh?
SPEAKER_00We must be effective.
SPEAKER_02Must be effective. In order for if we're going to be effective, we have to. Um let me let me let sometimes you see somebody, can I just say sometimes you might see somebody and they may have offended you and you live in a spirit of offense. Amen. I'm gonna say, sometimes you see somebody, they have offended you, and you live in a spirit of offense. But can I give you a solution? How often shall I forgive my brother? Every time he comes in a 70 times seven. Talks about completeness, doesn't it? It's like forgiving somebody every three minutes if they offend you. Because the truth of the matter is, have we ever offended God? Yes, we have.
SPEAKER_00We have.
SPEAKER_02Now, hold on. You say, well, brother, see, here's what you're missing. I think we need to make sure we we we stir it apart a little bit. But brother, I don't trust him. That's not the same.
SPEAKER_00Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02I didn't say do you trust him?
SPEAKER_00Right, right. All right.
SPEAKER_02I didn't say trust them. Didn't say that. I said you got to forgive them. You got to forgive them and then be able from that state of forgiveness. That's the only way you can minister if you it's don't you can't stay in a spirit of offense. If you know you grew up with a spirit offense, every time somebody says something to you, you go boohoo. It's a true statement. It's it's it's a mindset, it's a mindset for some people. You just have a mindset of where somebody says something to you, you're quickly offended, and then the next thing you know, you don't want to do with anybody, and the devil plays havoc in your life.
SPEAKER_00All right.
SPEAKER_02Right? And but you don't take the medicine. The medicine is what Jesus said. Forgive them. If you forgive them, you can forget it and move on.
unknownAll right, man.
SPEAKER_02But if you stay right there in that spirit of offense, you can't move past the offense. Can I talk to y'all real good? Some people are stuck right there in that spirit of offense and can't get to the purpose in their lives because they still stuck right there. You said, but I don't I don't want to be around them. I didn't say that. I said when you need to minister to them, you need to see them from God's point of
Don’t Let Outsiders Prophesy Your Future
SPEAKER_02view. And the spirit of offense won't allow you to do that. Am I right? Am I making sense? All right, any questions? Let me stop. I want to hear some questions because I know I said a lot there. Uh I just want to take this down. We're gonna take this home, y'all. But anything, come on now. We're gonna we're gonna get some healing in the church body because the church body needs to be healed. Because there's something you say, well, brother, they do me wrong. Look, you can't live in that space. God has given a solution for that. You can't live in that space.
SPEAKER_00Amen.
SPEAKER_02Christ was on the cross for giving folk who put him up there.
SPEAKER_00Yes, amen.
SPEAKER_02Come on, I know it's a question. I'm gonna pause, I'm gonna wait. Because I'm gonna I'm I'm in a uh I'm gonna tell you right now, there's an anointing on me that I didn't expect today, but it's a different anointing. All right, come on, talk to me. All right, well, we're gonna move on. When you have your and you're ready to talk about it, let's talk about it. But you can't stay there. Let me say this, and I'm gonna say it clearly. When we're able to see people as God sees them, um trying to remember Betty Jones, Mother Betty Jones, Pastor Betty Jones, Pastor Betty Jones, Pastor Betty Jones, Pastor Betty Jones, Pastor Betty Jones. I had an opportunity to sit down with Pastor Betty Jones probably about two years ago. We're at a council. We're at a council, and I shared this with some of y'all before. Uh, while we're talking, she's we're talking about Bishop and the mother, and then we start talking about her husband, and we start talking about some other things. And she dropped something on me that I was not expecting. She said, you know, she said it's so concise and beautiful. She said, you know, God loves his people, and he wants his people to be loved. Now, for some of you, depending on where you are in your leadership capacity, that may hit home real good for you. Because then it changes your whole perspective. Because God loves his people, and he wants his people to be loved. So if you're ministering, you need to know that you can't live in a fence and love at the same time.
SPEAKER_00Amen. Amen.
SPEAKER_02Woo!
unknownAmen.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna walk away. I'm gonna go his way. I'm gonna be right back.
